This 'A' Level is equivalent to the advanced diploma course in computer application recognized by the Government of India for job Purposes.

The duration of 'A' Level course is about 18 months for candidates who applied as a Direct entry and one year for the candidates who qualified the 'O' Level course.

Each and every year the course starts in the month of January and July. Before starting if this course, admission notice will be published in the local daily newspaper.

The main objective of the DOEACC 'A' Level course is that to prepare candidates for the 'A' Level examination by imparting required knowledge and Skills.

A-Level Course Syllabus of NIELIT

'O' Level Qualifiers or any graduates or a Government recognised Polytechnic engineering Diploma after 10th/12th class.

The below is the list of the 'A' Level course syllabus which was designed by the DOEACC NIELIT( which was formerly known as DOEACC Society).

First Semester

The first semester is divided into three theory subjects, which will be covering so many sub-topics and concepts.

  • IT Tools and Business Systems
  • Internet Technology and Web Design
  • Programming and Problem Solving through 'C' Language

Second Semester

  • Computer System Architecture
  • Structured System Analysis & Design
  • Data Structure through C++
  • Introduction to DBMS

Third Semester

  • Basics of OS, Unix & Shell Programming
  • Data Communication and Network technologies
  • Introduction to Object-oriented programming through JAVA
  • Software testing and Quality management

Fourth Semester

  • Basics of OS, Unix & Shell Programming
  • Data Communication and Network technologies
  • Introduction to Object-oriented programming through JAVA
  • Software testing and Quality management

Practical Papers & Project

  • Practical - 1(Based on A1,A2,A3,A4 papers Syllabus)
  • Practical - 2(Based on A5,A6,A7,A8,A9,A10 Papers Syllabus)
  • Project Work

Project Work in the DOEACC Scheme is an integral part of the curriculum to qualify the course. The project work is carried out by the student as a part of the course during the last semester.

This project work is to be done under the guidance and support of the faculty of the respective institute.

To do a project the following guidelines may be followed in the preparing the following project.

  • Should avoid duplicating the copies or copying from other students.
  • Page specifications should be maintained.
  • One hard copy of project report.
  • Soft copy of the project on Floppy/CD.

DOEACC “A”-level theory examination is conducted twice in a year (in the month of January and July) by DOEACC Society, New Delhi.

There is a number of examination centers all over India. The list of exam center will be available while collecting exam form. A student can choose one of the exam Center according to their convenience.

Full mark of each paper is 100 and exam duration is 3 hrs. Examination fee for each theory paper is Rs. 500/- and cost of exam form is Rs. 25/-.

Download the Admit Cards

One can easily download the admit cards of the 'A' Level examination easily enough with the official student portal of the NIELIT. Just follow these below these steps to download your Download Admit cards.

  • Visit the official website of the Student Portal of the NIELIT.
  • Click on this link http://student.nielit.in/ to visit the website.
  • Click on the "Download Admit card" option on the homepage.
  • You have to select the course "A Level (A)" from the displayed list.

You will be redirected to a page where you need to fill in all the details to download the details. Details like Examination Year, Examination Name, Application number, Date of Birth, captcha code etc.

Once you entered all those required details then your details will be verified and then the Admit Card will be displayed on the page.

You can download the Admit card by clicking the option "Download Admit card".

Check the 'A' Level Examination Results

Results of DOEACC “A” Level examination is published in the DOEACC website normally after two& half months of completion of the exam.

Students can check their result from this website and download.

Students can also ask for the result of the examination to the Institute.

Results will be sent to the candidates from DOEACC Society individually. The result will be provided in the form of Grade.

The marks scored in practical papers & project are not counted for calculating overall grade of the exam but, clearing practical papers and successful completion of Project are the necessary criterion for awarding the certificate.

  • Click on the "View Result" option on the homepage.
  • You have to select the course "A Level (A)" from the displayed list.

You will be redirected to a page where you need to fill in all the details to download the details. Details like Examination Year, Examination Name, Application number, Date of Birth, captcha code etc.

Some of the Employment Opportunities open to the students after completion of DOEACC A Level Course are Programmer, Asst. Database Manager, Teaching Assistant etc.
